I wonder if Christmas is less popular in America

It seems like with political correctness and religious correctness and the stuff about church and state going on, some festivities in my country had their names changed from the original holidays to sterile generic names. I think people and organizations should have the right to still Express their freedom of religion etc or freedom of belief. I feel like when we do this we're exercising repression rather than expression.
I was looking on the stats under the Christmas past time entry and I noticed it only had 27 views. Okay that's everybody's right. But it does make me feel a little sad. I still have some deep programming of celebrating the Christmas season. I've even celebrated it with non-christians.

CE, well expressed.
In my town there's a festivity called December nights. It used to be called Christmas on The Prado. And it was in Balboa Park. But due to concerns of political correctness and church and state stuff, it got changed to December nights. I would like the idea maybe of winter fest. That would sound more celebratory. I know what you're saying. I think it was meant well when this happened but it saddens me a little bit too it feels like our society is getting a little sterile during the holiday season in some ways. I'm glad to still see some festivity going on. And there are so many ways to celebrate the holidays. And many of us celebrate differently and celebrate different holidays. It's all good. I feel that the answer is not to repress religious expression or spiritual expression or festivities. I think we should expand it. And embrace anyone who believes whatever they wish or who doesn't believe. I live with an atheist and he still likes the festivities and he still loves jesus's teachings.
Thank you for sharing.
