I listened to a Mel Robbins video about motivation on YouTube. My laundry is piling up in my room and that's only one of my overwhelming issues which was only exacerbated by being sick recently. You can't get anything done when you're incapacitated by the fatigue of covid-19.
I've been well but still tired and emotionally overwhelmed by everything.
And my laundry is piling up in my room because of emotional issues I have around going to laundromats.
I asked myself today, "what is the worst thing that can happen if you gather your laundry up in your bag? Are you afraid you're going to pass out? You didn't pass out when you rearranged your furniture again. You didn't pass out when you took a walk with your roommate Christmas night. You didn't pass out when you made Christmas dinner. And so on..."
I'm not saying this to impress anyone there is no reward except my own mental wellness caused by positive behavior and a positive attitude in spite of everything.
"The thing is Carol are you going to do your laundry or just let it pile up? It's up to you to be a victim or not."
